Just wanted to let you all know that she is out of ICU now. We moved to a regular room late this evening. She also had her first solid food in nearly a week tonight and felt a little stronger. She will be starting physical therapy tomorrow. Hopefully we will have more progress to report soon.Art sent a couple questions yesterday.
Here's an update:Dad says you can call the house in the mornings. He usually wakes up around 5 central time and gets to the hospital about 8 central time. You are most likely to catch him between 6 and 7 central time. I know it's early but we're not ready for calls to our cells or to the room yet. Mom is still too weak and confused at times to really talk to anyone yet. She should gradually be coming out of the fog this week.
I'll let you guys know when she will be able to talk.And now that she is out of ICU, you can send flowers to the room. We are in North Kansas City Hospital.
